• IGE Solutions Inc. recently relocated to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Jupiter, Fla., only a few blocks away from the previous location. The larger headquarters will accommodate the company’s growing staff and expanded stone-fabrication product line; it includes a larger warehouse for machines, parts and supplies, as well as a high-tech customer education and training center for instruction in software, maintenance, machine programming, and other areas.
• Global Granite & Marble has opened a new 3,000 ft² natural-stone showroom at its Louisville, Ky., warehouse. The showroom is open to architects, designers, builders, fabricators, installers and consumers; the firm doesn’t sell at retail tothe public, but can match consumers with installers or designers. St. Louis, Mo.-based Global has locations in Louisville and Nixa, Mo.
• Cathedral Stone Products Inc. recently completed installation of testing laboratories and manufacuring facilities for Jahn restoration mortar products at its company headquarters in Hanover, Md. The new facilities allow for custom formulation of products onsite, instead of shipping from Jahn’s headquarters in Germany.
