• Tri-Tech Solutions Inc. has been selected to demo its ETemplate Photo™ digital-templating software at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s (CED) InfoTech 2005 conference on Oct. 12 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham, N.C. InfoTech 2005 is the Southeast’s premier information technology industry conference, providing IT entrepreneurs, industry experts, technology executives, and investors the opportunity to network and to explore critical issues affecting the IT industry.
• F. Barkow Inc. of Milwaukee is now a distributor of Groves Glass and Stone Handling Equipment from Groves Inc. of McHenry, Ill. Founded in 1879, F. Barkow Inc. is the oldest manufacturer of glass/stone carriers and transports in the country, and is in its fifth generation of family ownership.
• Stafford, Tex.-based Cosentino USA received the David Weekly “Partners of Choice” award for excellence in product quality for Silestone® natural-quartz countertops; the material was the only countertop to receive the honor, and only 11 out of 110 building product suppliers received an A rating or above for the entire year. The awards are based on the National Trading Partners Survey, a quarterly review of more than 100 suppliers rated by team members of David Weekley Homes, the nation’s second-largest privately held homebuilder.
• Delta Diamond Tools Inc. relocates to a newer, larger facility in Southfield, Mich. The new facility will increase Delta Diamond’s current space, allowing for the expansion of both its sales staff and inventory.
