ITSS Makes Miami Debut
MIAMI – ITSS-Miami, at the Miami Beach Convention Center on March 31- April 2, received plaudits from exhibitors and visitors alike.
The event marked the return of the stone industry to the popular Miami venue. The exposition is scheduled to return to Miami on March 24-26 next year, said Richard Caires, president of ITSS Expos, the show’s producers.
“ITSS-Miami was a definite success for Marmo Meccanica USA, “ said Phil Mularoni, president of the stone-machinery firm. “This show had the greatest selection of machinery outside of Verona, Italy. Our company sold everything we brought to the exposition.
“The buyers that came to our exhibit were highly qualified and ready to do business. You can’t ask for more than that,” Mularoni added. “Miami Beach is a fantastic venue for our industry and we are definitely looking forward to ITSS-Miami 2006.”
“We loved the fact that a lot of serious professionals attended the show,” said Ronit and Pini Barek of PB Marble Services Inc. in Sherman Oaks, Calif. “We saw a number of highly qualified builders, architects, and most importantly, distributors during the three days of the show. This show really targeted our needs, and we are looking forward more than ever now to the New York and Las Vegas shows to solidify the gains we made here.”
Michael Spellman, president of IGE Solutions Inc. in Jupiter, Fla, said that, “this show was a big success for our company. We not only sold a number of machines at the show, but we also obtained many very qualified leads. The show was well organized and very well run.
“We’re looking forward to an even bigger show in Miami next year,” he added.
“The stone equipment machinery display in Miami was absolute state-of-the-art; much of it has never been seen in this area before,” Caires said. “Our philosophy has been to leave no stone unturned to make our show great, and we are pleased and proud that the Miami show surpassed our exhibitors’ expectations.”
