• Polycor promotes Patrick Perus to vice president of sales and marketing. He remains president for two Polycor divisions: Georgia Marble Dimension Stone and Valley Family, and also continues as president of Polycor Georgia Marble and Colorado Stone Quarries.
• Rock of Ages Corp. names Caryn Crump as its new senior vice president/marketing for its Memorials Division. She previously worked at ConAgra, Coca-Cola, Shell Oil and Pennzoil, where she reported to Rick Wrabel, now president/COO of the Concord, N.H.-based quarrier/producer.
• Park Industries announces Gerry Waleztko as vice president of research and development. Waleztko, a veteran of 16 years with Park, will oversee new product development for both the Interiors and Architectural divisions. Dennis Emslander is now Interiors Division Sales Manager; he previously worked as sales manager Architectural division for six years.
Also at Park, Jim O’Connor is the new saws and edgers product team manager for Interiors, his latest position in more than 13 years at the Saint Cloud, Minn., company. Dale McAvoy, the leader of the Interiors sales team for more than four years, becomes field service manager for Interiors; Gordy Roy takes on the new position of Interiors field service coordinator.
Jeff Walerius, now in his fourth year at Park, is Architectural division sales manager.
• Keith Haney is the new Western regional sales manager for LATICRETE International Inc. in Bethany, Conn. The 18-year veteran of the tile, stone and construction markets will oversee technical sales representatives and work with the company’s distributor network in coordinating sales and education efforts.
