• Dakota Granite Co.’s board of directors recently named Chuck Monson as president. Monson, who’s also chairman of the board and CEO, has been with the Milbank, S.D., quarrier and producer for 25 years.
• Cathy Mayer is the new membership director of the Marble Institute of America Inc. Before joining the Cleveland-based stone-industry group, Mayer worked at NACSCORP, a college-bookstore industry association in Oberlin, Ohio.
• Rock of Ages Corp. names Caryn Crump as its new senior vice president/marketing for its Memorials Division. She previously worked at ConAgra, Coca-Cola, Shell Oil and Pennzoil, where she reported to Rick Wrabel, now president/COO of the Concord, N.H.-based quarrier/producer.
• Precision H²O appoints Kathy Marshall as a CAD/CAM operator-designer at its Spokane, Wash., mural department. Marshall brings 12 years of design experience to the Spokane-based waterjet-cutting service.
