• Kristy A. Foley is the new Stone Care International Inc. regional sales manager for the Midwest and West Coast regions. She brings a sales background to the Owings Mills, Md., company.
• John Mattke became president and COO of Cold Spring Granite Co. earlier this year; he succeeds Pat Mitchell, who’s now executive director of business development for the Cold Spring, Minn., quarrier. Also at Cold Spring’s memorial group, Jeff Rathjen is the new president/general manager, Michael Baklarz becomes vice president of business development, and Johnny Phillips is named vice president of sales. The company also adds Mike Hornung as general manager of Royal Melrose Granites and Granit Bronz Memorials.
• Specialty Construction Brands Inc. names Chris Bailey as sales manager for TEC brands. Bailey joined the Arlington Heights, Ill., company in 1997, and recently served as eastern regional manager for TEC brands.
• Joseph Smith is the new manager of systems and process improvement for Creative Materials Corp. in Albany, N.Y. He comes to the building-materials supplier with a strong background in management consulting and process analysis.
