VIC Sells Restoration Arm

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – VIC International Corp., a leading U.S. stone-equipment and -supplies company, sold its restoration and maintenance businesses on June 26 to St. Paul, Minn.-based Ecolab Inc. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
VIC, headquartered in Knoxville, retained is natural-stone fabrication and installation products, as well as its concrete-surface-prep businesses.
Ecolab is a leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing, pest elimination, maintenance and repair products and services for the global hospitality, institutional and industrial markets.
“This transaction provides VIC International additional capital, which we will invest in our ongoing and successful stone and concrete businesses to sustain future growth,” says Vic Green, company president. “I sincerely thank all of our associates who worked so hard to make this happen, and we are excited regarding our business prospects for the years to come.”
