• StonExpo Federation Inc. initiated a exhibitor advisory board for its annual trade show, with the first meeting set for StonExpo 2003 in Atlanta in early December. Initial members are Dan Devlin, Hard Rock Tool; Terrence Meck, Rolling Rock Stone; Phil Mularoni, Marmo Meccanica; and Allen Turk, Precision Drive Systems – Columbo. (Additional members will be named before the event.)
• Boston Tile will be the exclusive distributor in key New England markets of RoSan, an extensive line of proprietary mosaic and complementary stone products by award-winning designer Rudy Santos. Boston Tile is part of East Coast Tile Imports, a 28-store group comprised of Best Tiles, TileAmerica!, and Classic Ceramic Tile (New Jersey).
