ITSS 2002
LAS VEGAS – The International Tile And Stone Show (ITSS) will open a Western U.S. venue for the industry when it debuts here on Oct. 24-27.
The event, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, offers an exclusive focus on stone and tile for attendees. The independent show, which isn’t affiliated with a trade association or supplier, is designed to appeal to the large West Coast market.
ITSS organizers plan to target fabricators, importers/distributors and others involved with day-to-day work in stone, as well as architects, general/installation contractors, engineers, interior designers and kitchen/bath firms.
Exhibitors will cover the gamut of stone and tile supplies and equipment, including:
• Dimensional stone;
• Engineered stone;
• Solid surface;
• Pavers;
• Terrazzo
• Mosaic;
• Quarry tile;
• Terracotta;
• Stone furniture;
• Installation and maintenance products; and
• Fabrication equipment.
The ITSS also struck a deal earlier this year with the mammoth Marmomacc stone fair in Verona, Italy. The “Global Solution” offers incentives for exhibitors to participate in both events and broaden offerings for the Las Vegas show.
The event also aims to keep the spotlight on the trade floor, with no outside seminars or meetings for distraction. Organizers also plan several special events, such as car giveaways and receptions, for ITSS attendees and exhibitors.
ITSS hours at the Sands Center are 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 24-26 (Wed.-Sat.), and 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Oct. 27 (Sun.). Admission is free.
