Surfaces 2003

LAS VEGAS – Stone’s role continues to grow at Surfaces 2003 on Jan. 28-31 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, with a list of exhibitors that’s grown in the past few months.
Surfaces, sponsored by the World Floor Covering Association, made its mark as a carpeting and wood-flooring show. However, this year’s lineup of stone products shows the makings of a good exhibit niche for the hard-surface crowd.
Stone exhibitors should make up close 10 percent of the show that runs from Jan. 29-31. Considering that Surfaces 2003 will have more than 900 exhibitors in more than half-a-million square feet of space, it’s a respectable showing overall.
