We also concentrated on machines specific to automatic edge work. CNC-driven and manual-control production centers can also offer some guidance and assistance in fabrication.
While most of the information is self-explanatory, it’s worth reviewing several areas. Under Worksurface, for example, “belt-driven” applies to machines using a conveyor-belt-type system to move stone past grinding/polishing units, while “stationary” refers to models where the stone is held down and worked by a mobile grinding/polishing spindle.
When any dimensions are supplied in metric measurements, corresponding English units are also noted; when information is supplied in English units, no metric equivalents are given. The exception is with tool diameters, where the measurements are noted exactly as supplied.
