Alpha Professsional Tools®: Lights Out This Weekend (Sept. 14)
OAKLAND, N.J. — At Alpha Professonal Tools®, the new roof goes on this weekend … and the lights will go out.
Beginning at 2 p.m. EDT on Friday (Sept. 16), the lines will go dead to Alpha’s offices. The roof work — part of the repairs of damage from Hurricane Irene — requires that Alpha’s electrical-service provide cut the office power.
Alpha will close the office at that time, since no power means no phones, no FAX and no Internet. The company will reopen for business next Monday (Sept. 19) at 9:30 a.m. EDT and continue shipping on a limited basis.
The company asks that customers refrain from sending FAXes or emails from 2 p.m. EDT on Friday until the reopening on Monday morning; anything sent digitally during the outage will be returned as undeliverable.
