Job Board Open at StonExpo Website (June 15)
The StonExpo Job Board offers a stone-industry slant on the labor exchange, with a fill-in-the-blank searchable database by job description and by location. It’s operated along with Stamford, Conn.-based Indeed, the nation’s largest (by Web-visitor count) job-search site.
There’s no charge to look for positions. Companies wanting to post openings will pay a fee (currently set at $40 for a 30-day listing).
Job searches, like other services on the Internet, may take a bit of tweaking by being specific. “Installer,” for example, might lead to a broad mix of construction jobs; “countertop installer” recently drilled down the search to 19 positions.
The online job board will be available year-round.
StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2012 will be at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from Jan. 23-26. Online registration will open in August; get notified here.
