BUILDING PANEL
wedi Corp., Elk Grove Village, Ill., offers its wedi building panel, an ultra-lightweight and strong foam building panel made of waterproof extruded polystyrene. The easy-to-cut substrate also acts as insulation as it offers a bond surface for any thinset mortar or other adhesive because of its reinforced cement-based resin coating. It can be used as floor or wall backerboard underlayment, and fits the bill where waterproofing is needed.
