2012 Tucker Awards Open
The biennial competition recognizes and honors professionals who exhibit excellence in the use of natural stone in design and construction. Architects, landscape architects, interior designers and others are invited to enter the next cycle of the Tuckers.
All aspects of natural stone installation, whether exterior building, landscape or interior design of commercial, institutional, or residential projects are considered in the Tucker Design Award selection process. A distinguished jury of design professionals will be appointed to review each project for its overall unique, innovative and impressive qualities rather than determine its fit within a particular category.
Natural stone’s role in sustainable design should be regarded as a necessary component to green building, and will be inherently considered in each award.
The deadline for entries is Aug. 19; completed submission binders are due Oct. 3. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on May 11, 2012 in St. Louis.
The BSI’s website offers the eligibility requirements and official entry form; for more information, contact the BSI at (866) 786-6313 or by email.
