Alpha® Taps Contest Winner

Graziela Godard, president of Timeless Stone Inc. in Bloomfield, Conn., submitted the winning entry in Alpha’s “Name the Surface Polishing System” contest. The company announced the results of the competition today.

Turboshine is the new moniker for a surface-polishing system, developed with the help of Stone Fabricators Alliance members, for seamless countertop installations and scratch removal for granite and quartz surfaces. The setup usings a variety of diamond abrasives able to work with different stones – all with a quick-change head for each abrasive.

Godard will receive a complete set of the Turboshine polishing wheels at Alpha’s booth at StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2011 next month in Las Vegas.
