DITEQ Corporation Goes “High Five”
DITEQ is the vision of several individuals who work to insure the company’s continued success. YC Park, Kevin Wilson and Robert Coats were all part of the original team who set forth on a path to create a company that gave the little guy a chance to compete.
“The efforts of these individuals have been instrumental in the company’s success,” said DITEQ President Dan Steiner. “These guys are the foundation of the company. Their past industry contribution and market knowledge have created new opportunities for many people. Surpassing the five-year mark is our first milestone.”
Of the company tag line – Discover the DITEQ Difference – Steiner noted that difference is “our people.”
We have the best people in the world”, he said. “Our employees go the extra mile to insure our customers’ success. When you call DITEQ, you get a voice on our end that is ready and willing to help you. We don’t hide behind computers or voice-mail. We believe that you should treat your customers as you would your friends.”
Company officials also noted the strategic alliances created with other niche companies. DITEQ is also known as Shibuya USA; it’s the exclusive North American and South American supplier of the famous core drilling line from Japan.
“Shibuya is the most complete line of core drilling products in the world,” said Bob Coats, DITEQ executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Their engineering is second to none.”
Other strategic alliances include the Dustless Technologies wet/dry muzzle and vacuum system for power tools; Keyang power tools which include grinders, polishers and hammer drills; EMAK gasoline cut/off saws; IDA Technologies rail saws and the Rocket precision tile saw; Richmond Industries floor grinders; and Nasong scarifiers and large grinders.
“Because we are 100-percent sales driven, that allows us to be flexible and focused in our approach to supplying the needs of our customers,” said Sonja Bennett, vice president of business development. “That’s why strategic alliances are so important to DITEQ. We get our customers what they need to be a complete supplier.”
DITEQ officials also cited the company’s ARIX diamond-blade technology as part of its succcess. ARIX diamond blades have strategically aligned diamonds, set to control wear and make the blade cut faster, without sacrificing one for the other. ARIX diamond blades allow an increase in cutting speed by 30 percent to 50 percent while extending the blade life.
