Coverings “Select” Program Returns
Coverings Spectrum Select will showcase products introduced at the stone-and-tile show, set for March 14-17 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The program – co-sponsored by Contract magazine – will feature a selection from product entries by a panel of judges on the first day of the show.
“The prestige of being a Coverings Spectrum Select choice resonates long after the show ends and is an added value that exhibitors can effectively leverage in marketing their brands,” said Jennifer Hoff, president of Alexandria-based National Trade Productions (NTP), which manages and produces Coverings.
“The program is patterned on Contract magazine’s Best of NeoCon concept, which is revered in the contract furnishings industry,” she added. “We’re fortunate to be able to apply their level of experience and vision to the tile and stone industry, as well. Coverings Spectrum Select is a badge of distinction that helps bring to light the extraordinary caliber of these materials and tools of the trade.”
Coverings exhibitors may submit up to four candidates in any of the following categories: Artisan Tile/Stone; Porcelain/Ceramic Tile Wall; Porcelain/Ceramic Tile Floor; Mosaic Tile; Glass Tile; Natural Stone; Installation Material Systems; and, Equipment and Machinery. (For a product that might not fit into any of these classifications, there’s an Other category, the judges will include in considerations.)
The fee for the first entry is $50; additional entries are $30 each. In addition to a completed entry form, each submission must be accompanied by a typed narrative description of the product, plus photography.
Entry forms and fees are due by Feb. 4, with images needed by Feb. 25. The panel of judges will inspect the submissions at the exhibit booths of entrants on March 14, the first day of Coverings 2011.
