WATERPROOFING
MAPEI Americas, Deerfield Beach, Fla., introduces Mapelastic AquaDefense, a liquid-applied waterproofing for use under stone or ceramic-tile installations. The membrane works with interior and exterior surfaces to protect residential, commercial and industrial projects from water damage caused by migration through grout joints or porous stone. It can be applied to walls, floors and ceilings with a roller or brush, and takes approximately 30 minutes to dry and allow installation of stone.
DISHWASHER BRACKET
Granite Grabbers LLC, Winter Park, Fla., introduces the Granite Grabber dishwasher appliance mounting system. The patent-pending system is securely applied to stone with an exclusive permanent-bonding adhesive, with matching brackets attached with Philips-head screws to the appliance; the system is firmly in place after clamping for five minutes. The low-profile allows for easy removal of the appliance for repair or replacement; all kits come individually packaged with instruction card.
