MARBLE & QUARTZ
Marmo Bruno Zanet, Volargne, Italy, offers Botanic Green, an intense quartz superexotic combining a green coloration with subtle dark-grey nuances. The company also offers Botanic Wave, with leaf-like wide green colors with dark-grey veins segueing into light gray.
GOLD/SILVER-LEAFED STONE
Walker Zanger, Sylmar, Calif., introduces the Tracciato Collection, offering applications of gold and silver on stone tiles. The Italian-finished pieces feature either silver-leaf etched upon dark-gray limestone, or circular patterns of white marble against a hand finished gold-leaf background; all of the collection is hand-waxed and buffed to a lustrous patina. Gold- and silver-leaf field tiles are also available.
PEBBLE-BASED TILE/SLABS
Riverstone USA, Boca Raton, Fla., operates a factory warehouse in Florida for the Riverstone® agglomerated tiles of marble and stone pebbles set in clear and colored resin, from Effepimarmi Srl in Casciana Terme, Italy. Available colors include Bardiglio, Bianco Carrara Naturale, Botticino, Brenta, Giallo Siena and Verdi Alpi, all in 12” X 12” and 24” X 24” sizes. The warehouse also stocks a 1 1/4” X 12” liner; slabs are available on custom order.

EDGE POLISHER
Marmo Meccanica SpA, Monsano Italy, presents its special edge polisher for flat edges, the LCH–2L. For 90° V-shaped polishing/chamfering and 90° V-shape milling, the machine uses two incoming and outgoing mandrels with two V-shaped diamond wheels; the first one for the pre-cut and the second one to refine the piercing cut. Two slab portions can be glued along the 45° inclined sides; and, the external gluing line of the L-shaped piece can be chamfered by the same machine. ROUTER
Granite City Tool Co., Waite Park, Minn., offers the X-TREME JR. ROUTER, featuring the Makita 9565CV for variable speeds from 2,850rpm-10,500rpm. The extended 5/8”-11 arbor accepts standard diamond drum wheels for sinkhole cleanup, and an oscillating drum system to polish; with an adapter, it accepts standard diamond router bits.
