NEW MIXING TIPS
Integra Adhesives Inc., Abbortsford, B.C., announces newly designed Static Mixing Tips and Cartridges, made in North America. The 250ml Adhesive Cartridge body is molded from impact-resistant Nylon 6 to eliminate freight damage or breakage in shop use, and is recyclable in most jurisdictions. The Bayonet Mixer Tips with wings is specifically designed to work with the viscosities of Integra’s complete range of high-performance adhesives; the quick-lock attachment method provides a secure seal and eliminates the need for a screw cap. The spiral mixing element reduces back pressure resulting in even cures and easy flow.

MORTAR
Custom® Building Products, Seal Beach, Calif., introduces ProLite® Rapid Set Tile & Stone Mortar, a one-part, rapid-setting mortar for time-sensitive commercial and residential installations. Formulated with the company’s proprietary CustomLite® Technology, the solution is up to 40-percent lighter than traditional mortars, and features a non-slump formula offering full coverage for large-format tile. The fast curing time means that grouting can begin after just three hours, and an installation can accept light traffic in four hours.

LARGE-FORMAT MORTAR
MAPEI Americas, Deerfield Beach, Fla., introduces Ultraflex™ LFT for large-format tile and stone, a non-sag thinset bed allowing installers to work faster and produce a more uniform aesthetic in the finished project. The solution can also be applied as a non-slump medium-bed mortar up to 3/4” (19mm) thick for floor installations of large-format tile and stone. Ultraflex LFT also contains the company’ Dust-Free Technology, which significantly reduces dust generation from MAPEI products used on tile and stone installation jobsites.

STONE FLOOR POLISHING
Innovative Surface Solutions, Escondido, Calif., offer Monkey Pads, a non-toxic, biofegradable and chemical-free honing and polishing of marble, travertine, limestone and terrazzo. Designed for use with any 17″ 175rpm-300rpm floor scrubber, the pads are washable and cover up to 5,000 ft², depending on lippage. The product is available in cases of five pads in grits of 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000, 8000, 11000, or combination sets of grits from 800 too 11000.
