Passings – Brian “Stoner” Yager

Brian Yager, 56, owner of Desert Stone & Saltillo LLC in Chandler, Ariz., of a heart attack on Nov. 27. Affectionally called “Stoner,” Yager generously shared his knowledge on stone care and restoration through seminars, online forums and just by dropping into his shop. Born in Grand Rapids, Mich., he graduated from Ferris State College in Big Rapids, Mich., and spent more than 35 years in the floor-care trade. He is survived by his spouse of 22 years, Sandy; his daughter, Angie; and two grandchildren, Alyssa and Matthew.
