2010 Stone Survey Available
The study, a joint project of the Hudson Economics Group Ltd. and the Cleveland-based Marble Institute of America, measures industry trends now developing in the current economic environment.
“In these tough economic times, this survey will identify current trends and future opportunities for companies in the stone business and those supplying the industry,” said Gary Distelhorst, MIA executive vice president/CEO.
Survey results are from face-to-face interviews conducted at Coverings 2010 in Orlando with industry attendees from around the globe. Results are broken out for respondents from Asia, Central America, Europe, North America and South America on a variety of topics, including:
• Five-year growth forecasts;
• Investment and acquisition plans;
• Commercial lending opportunities;
• The effect of currency-exchange rates; and
• Implications of U.S. trade policies.
The survey is available for $500, with additional charges for priority and overnight delivery, and can be ordered here.
