Specialty Gets H.B. Fuller Name
Specialty, which offers installation products under the TEC® and Grout Boost® brands, began operating under the new name in late May. The modification
doesn’t reflect an ownership change; Specialty operated as a subsidiary of H.B. Fuller Co.
“The name change represents a revitalization of our passion for partnering with customers and for supporting the construction industry as a whole,” said Rose Mary Clyburn, H.B. Fuller Construction Products president. “It also ties our offering together for those customers who are seeking a complete solution across flooring types, and makes it easier for our customers to understand who we are by removing a layer of complexity in our corporate name.”
Since assuming leadership of the company in September 2009, Clyburn re-structured the sales and customer support teams to enhance coverage and service, integrated internal systems to streamline the customer-ordering process, and expanded product offerings to meet changing market needs and conditions.
Parent firm H.B. Fuller Co., a manufacturer and marketer of adhesives, sealants, coatings, paints and other specialty chemical products, operates with net revenues exceeding $1.4 billion, and . employs approximately 3,700 people in 31 countries.
