Honed Selina Gold limestone tile from Egypt makes up the majority of ground-floor paving, with the materials coming from not only a particular quarry, but also a particular layer within that quarry.

For exterior paving, the pool coping and fireplace facing is Goldstone granite: the paving and coping is chisel-finish, and the outdoor fireplace is clad with split-face Goldstone. The kitchen features polished Apollo Storm granite with matching full-height and end-matched backsplash.

Eight walls and 400 panels – 56,000 ft² – of dually finished travertine cover the exterior of the first phase of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) transformation along the famed Miracle Mile of Wilshire Boulevard. The soft color of the hand-set travertine is in direct contrast to the rough texture created by the bush-hammered and waterjet finishes.
