Biesse Sets Diamut for U.S., Canada

Diamut, part of Pesaro, Italy-based Biesse’s corporate holdings since 2002, will operate offices in Charlotte (Diamut America) and Mirabel, Quebec (Diamut Canada).

Diamut began producing high-tech diamond tooling for the stone industry more than 20 years ago, with CNC tooling providing its main entry into the North American market. However, it’s also offering related fabrication products, including polishing units, core drills, wet/dry blades and diamond wire.

The company also recently introduced the HyS (high-speed) Stone Tooling Line.

“In the past, Diamut was known mostly as a supplier to the CNC market, but our product line has exploded as the company has invested in new technologies and products,” says Patrick Buskill, brand sales manager for Diamut America and Diamut Canada. “The North American customer now has an immediate, direct source for all things Diamut.”

Diamut products will be available from U.S. and Canadian distributors, as well as from the company direct. The company’s warehouse in North Carolina has capability to ship product overnight to any destination in North America keeping with the philosophy of lean processing principals (Kaizen).
