Bonsal Introduces New Brand
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Some old standby Bonsal American products in the installation trade will get a new identity this spring.
ProSpec®, a Sakrete brand, will be the new tag for Bonsal products for tile installation and concrete restoration/repair, the company announced on April 17 during Coverings 2007 in Chicago.
“The ProSpec brand is a commercial product line for the construction industry and is specified by architects and engineers,” said David Maske, Bonsal American president. “ProSpec is strictly related to commercial and residential building construction, and is not a DIY-type product.”
The new brand will include the former Bonsal product line of professional grouts, self-leveling underlayments, thin-set mortars, waterproofing, adhesives, repair mortars and patches.
Bonsal American is a division of Oldcastle APG. Oldcastle’s parent company is CRH International Group, based in Dublin, Ireland.
