Marmomacc 2007 Sets Another Record
VERONA, Italy – The latest version of the mammoth Marmomacc natural-stone event kept pace with its tradition of setting records last fall.
The Oct. 5-8, 2007, show drew approximately 65,000 attendees, a four-percent increase from the previous year. The event also proved to be an international draw, with nearly 26,000 visitors (up six percent from 2006) coming from outside Italy.
The 42nd edition of the International Natural Stone and Technology Exhibition also grew on the business side, with 1,510 exhibitors – a four-percent increase from 2006 – setting up shop over a net expo area 76,000 m² (818,056 ft²). The 2007 event also showed an even split between the number of exhibitors from inside and outside Italy.
