• The Marble & Granite Gallery hires Jeanne Zamojski as a showroom consultant for the Southfield, Mich.-based stone company. She previously worked in interior/exterior design sales in the home-building industry, and also worked independently doing home-design consulting.
• Schechner Lifson Corp. appoints Marc Rosenkrantz as president. Rosenkrantz merged his company with the Summit, N.J.-based firm 10 years ago; his leadership at the firm’s Property Casualty division helped it grow to more than $30 million in revenue in 2006.
• Alan Weiner is the new sales and marketing manager for GerrityStone in Woburn, Mass. Previously the sales and marketing director for Fordham Marble, Weiner will oversee strategies and programs for GerrityStone’s three locations in Rockland, Mass., Salem, N.H., and Woburn.
• SpecCeramics Inc. adds Robert Walker to its Los Angeles sales team as Western Los Angeles County architectural sales representative; prior to joining the Anaheim, Calif.-based company, Walker worked five years with Architectural Products Group/Arizona Tile, and the last two years with Dal-Tile as a commercial architectural sales representative.
• Wood’s Powr-Grip Company Inc. adds David Peters as marketing associate for the Laurel, Mont., company. His 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and media includes work the Montana Communications Network, OneMain.com and Earthlink.
• Rebecca Bertok is the new franchise development manager for the South Carolina franchise of the Granite Clinic, a Stone Interiors North America (SINA) company, in Columbia, S.C. Formerly the marketing manager for Stone Interiors East, another SINA company, Bertok will establish operating procedures and a marketing plan for the Granite Clinic in anticipation of nationwide franchising. Trandy Mayers, previous an installer for Stone Interiors East, also joins the Granite Clinic in field services.
• George Pardo is the new vice president of the Parkside Surfaces and Parkside Builder Solutions divisions of The Parkside Group. He joined the Batavia, Ill.-based building-services company in 1991 as a sales representative, and recently served as general manager of Parkside Surfaces’ Florida branch. He replaces Tom Cool, who recently retired.
