Marmomacc Expands in 2006
VERONA, Italy – Marmomacc, the stone industry’s supershow, just got bigger for its 2006 version.
The 41st International Exhibition of Marble, Natural Stone and Technology, set for Oct. 5-8, will add new exhibit space at the VeronaFiere trade-fair complex. Set in a single building under construction during the 2005 event, Halls 10 and 11 will add 215,278 ft² of exhibit space.
VeronaFiere’s Hall 7 will also be reconfigured to offer a global presentation of tools, abrasives and chemical products for processing. Hall 1 will feature products for architecture and design; Halls 2, 3, 4 and 5 will include machinery and technologies; and Halls 6, 8 and 9, plus the two new halls, will house stone.
Marmomacc is now an official member of the Marble Institute of America (MIA) and will be an education provider for the American Institute of Architects (AIA). This year, there will also be a coordinated online course through AECDaily.
