Sales Remain Brisk For StonExpo ‘06
DALLAS – Exhibit-floor space for StonExpo 2006 is more than 80-percent sold for the November event in Las Vegas, according to Hanley Wood LLC, the event’s owner and producer.
Dallas-based Hanley Wood Exhibitions notes that more than 80,000 net square feet of exhibit space was assigned during the StonExpo 2006 space draw for booths, marking a 56-percent increase from the previous year. This year’s committed space already matches the size of the entire 2005 event.
In addition, 160 companies participated in the space draw, marking a 45-percent increase in participants from 2005.
“The requests for exhibit space are overwhelming this year,” says Michelle Troop, Senior Show Director for StonExpo.
Exhibiting companies at StonExpo 2005 also increased their space by 16,000 ft² for 2006, a 24-percent rise from the previous year. In addition, 10-percent of all the companies committed to StonExpo 2006 are new to the event.
StonExpo 2006 will take place November 9-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. More than 250 exhibiting companies and more than 5,000 stone professionals are expected at the event. StonExpo’s official sponsors are the Marble Institute of America (MIA) and the Natural Stone Council.
