CLEVELAND – The Marble Institute of America (MIA) is now accepting entries for the 2008 Pinnacle Awards competition, now expanded to include a best-of-show “Grande Pinnacle Award,” and a trip to Verona, Italy, in 2009 for its winner.

• Robert A. Hund, 80, former managing director of the Marble Institute of America (MIA), in Farmington, Mich., of cancer on March 16. He headed the MIA from 1980-1995, growing the membership to more than 600, and also represented other trade organizations and commercial clients through his firm, Robert Hund Incorporated (RHI), from 1967-2006.
