Surfaces 2010: Preview

LAS VEGAS – At Surfaces 2010, it’s time to look at more than what’s underfoot – literally.

The Feb. 1-4 event steps up from its traditional floor-covering focus at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, taking on a variety of materials and installation/maintenance products and issues.

Bellcomb Gets Stonewurks; Plans Stone-Panel Expansion

MINNEAPOLISBellcomb Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of honeycomb panels acquired Stonwurks , a division of M&G Designs Inc. of Sylvan Grove, Kans., last month.

Stonwurks offers stone products combining a wide variety of thin stone bonded to honeycomb for a number of markets including marine, transportation, and construction. Bellcomb is moving Stonwurks production to Minneapolis, along with its key employees.
