Eos Expands Distrubution, Seeks Patent

The company will maintain its growing corporate office and distribution center in Portsmouth.
All facilities will sell directly to fabricators, with immediately available inventory and same-day shipping.
“Our new distribution centers make material readily available, on an individual sheet stock basis, to the broad range of fabricators across the country who have expressed enthusiastic interest in our product,” said Eos Managing Partners Ken Trinder and Evan Kruger. “We’ve also enhanced our original, direct container sales, which remain available for fabricators choosing to deal in quantity and the best possible pricing.”
The company also announced publication of the pending-patent application covering its 3cm solid surface material. The company’s patent application was published on June 15, 2006 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Patent-pending status recognizes Eos' intent to protect its rights in its recently invented 3cm solid surface. The publication notifies other manufacturers of the potential for official patent status that would grant Eos the right to exclude others from manufacturing, offering for sale or importing the material into the United States.  Eos is also proceeding to protect its 3cm solid surface internationally.
