C.H. Briggs, DuPont Announce 63” Winners (Feb. 17)

Coroto Stone of Olyphant, Pa., Norwood Marble and Granite of Brentwood, Md., and Top South of Marietta, Ga., all received 63” video screens from Zodiaq® producer DuPont Surfaces and specialty building-materials supplier C.H. Briggs of Reading.

200_BriggsDuPont Click to enlarge The three shops, all authorized Zodiaq® manufacturers/installers, showed the greatest increase in sales of the quartz surface in 2010 from 2009, during comparative four-month periods. The promotion coincided with the introduction of 63” Zodiaq® slabs, which offer a 10-percent to 15-percent increase in yield from its standard size.

“We had a fantastic response from our fabricators and installers to the promotion,” said Luis Arias, C.H. Briggs chief marketing officer. “The three winners’ combined sales growth of Zodiaq® quartz surfaces exceeded 80 percent. This is an outstanding achievement considering the challenging business environment facing the building materials industry, and C.H. Briggs is proud to be partnered with these exceptional organizations.”

The winners were announced during a ceremony at the Corian® Design Studio in Philadelphia.
