Amerimix, Charlotte, N.C., offers the SI 400 series of Portland and lime mortars preblended to reduce waste from field mixing. Manufactured for stone and other above-grade, load-bearing applications, the mortars are manufactured in an automated blending process for batch-to-batch consistency; the formulation also extends board life for less retempering in hot and windy climates. The products are available in 80-lbs bags or 3,000-lbs super sacks.

The earthy and creamy light-brown shade now brings the line’s colors up to six; the sinks, made of 80-percent granite and 20-percent acrylic resin, are non-porous, scratch- and stain-resistant, and heat-resistant up to 536°F.
